Principal Investigator
Jie Luo (罗 杰)
Jie is a tenure-track faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at Zhejiang University under the 100 Young Professors Program. He received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Sun Yat-sen University, under the mentorship of Professor Xiaodan Zhao (2014-2019). Following his doctoral studies, Jie conducted postdoctoral research at the Weizmann Institute of Science and the University of California, Berkeley. During this time, he collaborated with world-renowned scientists, including Professor David Milstein on catalytic systems for sustainable chemistry (2019-2023) and Professor Peidong Yang on advanced materials for energy applications (2023-2025). His research bridges synthesis, catalysis and materials science, focusing on innovative solutions to global sustainability challenges.
